Amy Wood Interiors is a full-service Interior Design firm based in the Alexandria Lake Areas specializing in light and bright spaces to stand the test of time. As a young girl, Amy constantly tested her decorating knowledge by rearranging her bedroom and those of the families she babysat. She graduated from the University of North Dakota with a double major in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

After working in a marketing position, and then staying at home with her young children, Amy always stayed passionate about Interior Design and spent many hours reading books and educating herself on the subject. Prompting from friends and family lead to her first jobs in decorating and the start of her design firm.

As an interior designer, Amy is inspired daily but the light and bright aesthetic of the west coast and the casual calmness the style evokes. That design translates well to the lakes community she serves. Her projects range in size and include styling sessions, furniture selections, large and small scale remodels, and ground-up new builds.
