Amy Wood Interiors is a full-service interior design studio serving the Alexandria Lakes area, specializing in timeless, light-filled spaces. From an early age Amy refined her eye for design - rearranging her bedroom and those of the families she babysat - turning a childhood passion into a profession. She holds a double major in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Dakota, bringing both creative vision and business savvy to every project.

After working in marketing and then staying home with her young children, Amy remained deeply passionate about interior design. She spent countless hours reading, studying trends and techniques, and refining her eye for balance, color, and function. Encouraged by friends and family who admired her talent, she took on her first decorating projects - each one an opportunity to translate her design knowledge into thoughtful, livable spaces. Those early jobs grew into a steady stream of commissions and, ultimately, the founding of her design firm. Today, Amy Wood Interiors blends practical experience with a love of detail, creating interiors that feel both timeless and tailored to the way people live.

As an interior designer, Amy draws daily inspiration from the light, bright coastal aesthetic and the casual calm it evokes. That relaxed, refined sensibility translates naturally to the lakes community she serves. Her work spans styling sessions, furniture selection, large- and small-scale remodels, and ground-up new builds - each project tailored to the client’s lifestyle and the home’s setting.
